This is the fourth collection of performances by students of Sri Chinmoy from Sri Chinmoy’s 2013 Mahasamadhi anniversary (Oct. 11). These four tracks feature performances from Srinvantu.

Dear listeners, today we bring you a performance by the oldest musical instrumental group of Sri Chinmoy Students, Srinvantu.

Since the 1970’s, Srinvantu has been offering soulful and deep performances of Sri Chinmoy’s songs in instrumental form. One outstanding feature of this musical group is that Sri Chinmoy’s songs are performed in unison, with no chords as accompaniment. This allows for the melodies to be shared in their most pure form, as they were composed by Sri Chinmoy.

This heartfelt performance was offered on October 11, 2013, the sixth anniversary of Sri Chinmoy’s Mahasamadhi (Oct. 11, 2007).

For all of us present, this performance helped us to deepen our meditative feeling. With grateful memories, we present this musical and spiritual offering to you.
