In this CD by Ananda, we see again the main quality of Ananda’s style: soulfulness. This is the root, and everything they manifest is the branches, leaves and fruits. It is indeed a beautiful soulfulness-tree! Sri Chinmoy‘s melodies have found a perfect home.

Their music is full of inner cry, aspiration for the highest. Inside this inner cry one is able to feel and intense inner joy.

Ananda’s music is also full of an intense inner dynamism, an intensity which is patent in every song. Whether they are singing or playing, slowly or fast, it is felt.

Indeed, Ananda’s music is excellent for meditation. We are grateful to Ananda for this soulful and illumining offering.
