The cover for this CD reads “An immortal story in Bengali written by Sri Aurobindo – rendered into poetry by Sri Chinmoy in 1945 – set to music in 2002.”

Sri Chinmoy’s love for Sri Aurobindo can only be felt and never be described. Words fail to express the immensity of this love.

The fact that this poem-song lasts for almost 30 minutes speaks volumes about Sri Chinmoy’s poetic capacity – he was 13 years old when he rendered this story to poetry. Now Sri Chinmoy is almost 75 years old, yet he remains as inspired and productive as ever, remaining extremely active as a composer, artist, writer, athlete and musician.
