This CD is a wonderful collection of varied performances by Sri Chinmoy. From flute to synthesizer to vibraphone, we get to experience many different textures, moods and modes of musical expression. In some instruments, such as the harmonium, Sri Chinmoy sounds almost ancient, like a performance recorded thousands of years ago; so simple and traditional is his singing. In others, we feel like we are traveling in cosmic spaces never explored before, as if new worlds are opening before our very eyes.

One common thread through all this, though: it is great music for meditation, very expansive and pure, like water from a mountain spring. Enjoy!
