Sri Chinmoy's esraj performance at the beginning of this CD is extraordinary. Rarely have I heard the esraj sound so sweet! The esraj is one of Sri Chinmoy's favorite instruments. There is something about the tone and feeling of this particular performance that I find enthralling. It is one of the most subtle esraj recordings by Sri Chinmoy that I have ever heard. Excellent music for meditation!
