Comment on album

On July 14, 2003, Sri Chinmoy played 51 of his own melodies on the sitar. The extraordinary thing is that he taught himself how to play this instrument and, although he does not claim to be world-class in this or any other instrument, the fact that at age 71 he can do this is extraordinary.

Sri Chinmoy is 25 years older than me in earthly years, but in enthusiasm and eagerness he is much younger than me, and by that I mean that he has the enthusiasm of a young person. Every day he is setting new goals to accomplish in different fields: music, drawing, painting, poetry, weightlifting, etc.

May we all have the same enthusiasm that Sri Chinmoy exhibits, when we reach his age!

Our gratitude to Sri Chinmoy for this soulful and illumining offering.
