It is for me a great privilege and honor to introduce these 4 pieces, based on Sri Chinmoy's compositions. Andrés is a supremely talented musician. His music is eclectic, vivacious, brilliant, warm and inspiring! They are full of creative enthusiasm. Aside from being a superb arranger, he is also a very talented pianist.

His music fills a void that has been there for a long, long time. He is able to mix elements of "Art Music", or what we commonly call Classical Music, with Sri Chinmoy's melodies, in a free and inspired way. His music, rather than being a "faithful" rendition of Sri Chinmoy's songs, is more of a poem based on Sri Chinmoy's songs. It flows like a river, unimpeded, towards the Ocean of the great Unkown.

These are recordings from live concerts from Iceland, where he is completing a degree in musical composition.

Our gratitude to Andrés for this soulful and elevating offering. We hope to hear more of his music in the near future.
