In this episode of Conversation-Hearts, we listen to Aparajita Fishman, owner of the Oneness-Fountain-Heart Restaurant in New York, who tells us of his customers' experiences.

His customers feel peace when they come to his restaurant, and Aparajita is happy to be of service to them. It is this oneness between the servers and those being served that makes the experience unique and invaluable.

When Sri Chinmoy played tennis, he said he loved the game, partly because it reflected his philosophy: love and serve. Where there is love, there is oneness, so the feeling of superiority and inferiority is not there. If I can feel the living presence of God in myself, and if I can feel that same reality in every human being, then service becomes an act of divine love.

Our gratitude to Aparajita for these inspiring stories.

At the end, a cute extra: Aparajita's classic representation of Homer Simpson ...referring to "forbiddden donuts".
