Sri Chinmoy reads from “Everest-Aspiration”

Last modified December 19, 2007

In this recording we hear Sri Chinmoy reading twelve selections from his book “Everest-Aspiration”.

Everest-Aspiration is one of the most significant books in Sri Chinmoy’s collection of 1,600 books. It was compiled over a few months during the summer of 1977, when Sri Chinmoy gave a prolific series of talks on themes of spirituality.

Some of these selections, such as “Gifts”and “Prayer-Life and Meditation-Life” are conversations between man and God, expressing a very affectionate and devoted intimacy between the lover and the Beloved. Others are introspective, reflective contemplations of inner truths and processes that every seeker faces on his/her way to perfection.

We are grateful to Sri Chinmoy for this illumining and elevating offering, and we hope that it sparks an upward journey in every seeker’s heart.
