Hiya Bhaha (Sanskrit: the language of the heart) is a group of 14 women singers and musicians from different cities in Germany. The group was inspired by Sri Chinmoy’s poetry and songs and started singing and playing together in 1988-89.
Since then Hiya Bhasha have been giving concerts all over Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland, performing and arranging Sri Chinmoy’s songs using a blend of Eastern and Western instruments, such as flute, guitar, harmonium, harp, hammerdulcimer, esraj, tabla and glockenspiel.

“Buddham Sharanam Gachhami” – Hiya Bhasha
A German female group, Hiya Bhasha, offer the album “Buddham Sharanam Gachhami” (1989). The album is a selection of songs dedicated to the Spiritual Master, Lord Buddha.
