In this recording from August 27, 1984, originally released as a cassette, we hear Sri Chinmoy playing in improvisational style, celebrating his 53rd birthday.

Sri Chinmoy’s improvisational style is an expression of musical freedom. He is not bound by any stylistic framework. Rather, he is like a divine child, absolutely free, dynamic and cheerful!

His music is full of youthful enthusiasm! Yet there is an inner calmness inside this tapestry of notes. We hope you enjoy this performance as much as we do.
