Dear listeners, it is with great joy that we bring you Part 2 of our Selected Performances from April 13, 2025.
Every year, disciples of Sri Chinmoy from all over the world gather for a 10-day celebration of the Anniversary of Sri Chinmoy’s arrival in America on April 13, 1964.
We gather and enjoy silent group meditations, musical performances, sports and games, and we also offer a free public concert, in the spirit of selfless service that Sri Chinmoy practised. In the field of music, he was a prolific composer, with more than 20,000 songs to his credit. Most of these are devotional songs.
Throughout his life, Sri Chinmoy offered more than 800 free concerts of soulful music to the public. He was trying to share, through music, the fruits of his prayer-life and meditation-life.
We hope that these interpretations of Sri Chinmoy’s songs, offered by his disciples, will inspire you with the beauty of a higher realm, the Source from which we all come.
