Dear listeners, we offer you here our first compilation of performances by Sri Chinmoy‘s students. These are vocal and/or instrumental interpretations and arrangements of Sri Chinmoy’s melodies.

As you will see, there is a great variety of talents and styles among these musicians. These musicians aim to share with the world at large the beauty of the inner world.

When we look at a beautiful flower, we are delighted. Yet the flower itself remains on Earth for a few days; then it dies. However, the beauty that the flower is expressing is a message from the inner world. The flower seems to be saying: “Look! There is an inner source of this quality which you call beauty, and which I am manifesting right now. If you find that source, if you can tap into that source, you can enjoy the infinite Beauty. This Source is the fountain of all beauty on Earth. I am here to remind you that this Beauty exists.”

Similarly, a spiritual musician will try to manifest this Beauty, this inner harmony, light and delight through his or her music, to remind us all that there is an inner source.
