Sri Chinmoy Sings – Volume 2

Last modified July 28, 2006

In this recording, originally released as a cassette, we hear Sri Chinmoy singing seven of his early songs. These are prayer-poems set to music, in Bengali meter.

These songs are full of the inner cry for the Highest. Sri Chinmoy calls this inner cry aspiration. He describes it as an inner mounting flame that rises high, higher, highest, to our true, essential and transcendental nature.

Our gratitude to Sri Chinmoy for this soulful and illumining offering.
