“Soul-Fragrance-Jubilee”

This cassette features Sri Chinmoy‘s performance on piano and organ at Stanford University’s Memorial Chapel on May 22, 1989. The piano piece is repeated three times, and the organ piece two times.

Both Sri Chinmoy’s piano and organ performances create a sense of expansion and cosmic grandeur, a feeling of a great universal space. And within that cosmic space, the beauty of self-transcendence, of the soul searching for itself and manifesting its own effulgent light.

Sri Chinmoy’s music is imbued with imagination, bursting forth from the infinite capacity of the spiritual in us. This music resonates within the deepest recesses of our being: it is the recognition of some long-forgotten essence within ourselves.
