This week on Inspiration Sounds we have two stories for you retold from the pen of Sri Chinmoy. During the course of his lifetime he recounted hundreds of stories that he heard or read growing up in Bengal India, each with their own unique slice of life. And it is our pleasure to bring them to you.

When Argument Ceases, Illumination Dawns
A story about the spiritual master Kavir, his son Kamal and an argument they had when Kavir asked his son to bring him some flowers and a small quantity of milk for use in his worship.

Have Faith in Vishnu!
In this tale we meet a devotee of Lord Vishnu enjoying a morning ride on his horse. It all turns sour when he meets a washerman doing the laundry in the morning sun, and it is up to Lord Vishnu to save him.
