“Infinity’s Sound-Journey in Eternity’s Silence-Eye”

Last modified June 29, 2009

Sri Chinmoy improvises on the pipe organ: Riverside Church, New York, NY, September 8, 1987 and Browne Community Church, Flushing, NY, September 7, 1987.

Dear listeners,

Sri Chinmoy played many instruments in his music career, but the organ, according to him was the most fulfilling. His performances on this instrument are always extemporaneous improvisations.

These two 1987 performances by Sri Chinmoy are majestic and cosmic in their proportions. Ranging from the celestial subtlety to cosmic power, the inherent sweetness and light imbued in the music cannot help but inspire and elevate the consciousness of the listener. As the title implies, Infinity and Eternity play together in this cascade of musical energy. May you all enjoy this wondrous music as much as we do.

Here is another organ performance by Sri Chinmoy on Radio Sri Chinmoy.
