Thought of the Day: On Security and Insecurity

Last modified July 10, 2007

In this episode of Thought of the Day, Sanjaya Spettigue reflects on the nature of security and insecurity, and how to conquer insecurity.

As human beings, we rely on outer success to determine our sense of security. We also rely on our material wealth to feel secure and gain a sense of success. But life is transient, and our possessions often bring more worries, not more security.

Power also fails to fulfill our life; it seems that all outer things bind us. But the inner hunger, the inner cry which we call aspiration, has the power to fulfill our existence.

Our gratitude to Sanjaya Spettigue for his soulful contributions.
