Srinvantu, Father’s Day 2014, Aspiration-Ground

Last modified June 19, 2014

Dear listeners, we are honored to offer you a rich and soulful performance by instrumental group Srinvantu.

On Father’s Day, June 15, 2014, at Aspiration-Ground in New York, the all-male instrumental group Srinvantu

offered a breathtaking performance of their interpretation of Sri Chinmoy’s songs.

From the moment I first saw them in 1979, this group impressed me with its soulfulness and spirituality. They perform Sri Chinmoy’s melodies in unison, which is extremely hard to do well, as there is no room for error.

Their interpretation of Sri Chinmoy’s melodies is unique, in great part due to the tone they achieve as a group; it is very beautiful and pleasing to the ear. It has a flexible, smooth quality that is like a lullaby to my soul; very, very soothing. They have captured the warmth, divine affection, sweetness, universal love and devotion in Sri Chinmoy’s songs and are able to express these qualities and share them with the world at large. I find their music is very conducive to meditation.

We hope that you enjoy their soulful offering as much as we do.
