The World Harmony Run is a global relay that seeks to promote international friendship and understanding. As a symbol of harmony, runners carry a flaming torch, passing it from hand to hand between members of thousands of local communities, travelling through over 70 nations around the globe.

People of all nationalities, faiths and traditions have been drawn to participate in this event created by Sri Chinmoy in 1987. Sri Chinmoy believes that sport is a powerful instrument for promoting global harmony.

Musicians from around the world offer their arrangements of Sri Chinmoy’s World Harmony Run theme song :
