The weekend of October 11 and 12, 2008, Sri Chinmoy’s students from all over the world gathered in New York to observe the 1st Anniversary of Sri Chinmoy's Mahasamadhi.

We enjoyed moments of great inner beauty and peace, and also very nice musical offerings by Sri Chinmoy students who are accomplished musicians.

Sri Chinmoy's music emanates sweetness sublime, as well as an ever-climbing inner cry. His are the songs of self-offering to the Supreme, songs of love and devotion; songs of peace, light and delight.

We are grateful to all of Sri Chinmoy's students for this soulful and illumining offering, and for their continuing efforts to serve mankind through all the different activities of the Sri Chinmoy Centres: concerts, sport events, art exhibits, the World Harmony Run, and the Oneness-Heart Tears and Smiles.
