April 2013 Celebrations, Part 1

Last modified May 19, 2013

Every April, Sri Chinmoy‘s students from all over the world meet for a celebration of Sri Chinmoy’s arrival in the West (April 13, 1964).

This is part 1 of a selection of individual and group performances by some of Sri Chinmoy’s students from our April Celebrations for 2013.
These performances are extremely soulful and heartfelt. They are imbued with beauty and aspiration for the Highest, with love for God and for humanity. It is the music of the aspiring heart, the poetry of life, the joys and sorrows of the eternal Journey to self-discovery and self-realisation. Music of this type helps to unfold the inner flower deep inside our heart; it is like the morning dew, subtle, and yet nourishing our inner child, or like a soft breeze caressing our soul. It is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Sri Chinmoy and his life of constant self-offering to humanity’s deepest aspirations.

We hope you enjoy this music and find it, like us, very conducive to meditation.
