Inspiration Sounds 65

Welcome back everyone to this week’s episode of Inspiration Sounds. We are very lucky that we have a wealth of material for our weekly episodes, as Sri Chinmoy wrote and re-told literally hundreds and hundreds of stories. Short or long, funny or serious, they all seem to strike a chord inside the individual, to show that we all go through the same trials and tribulations, no matter who or where we are in this world.

Pray for Protection
An important story about a child who learns the value of prayer after he is beaten by a group of fifteen mischievous kids from his school. If you do the right thing then God really can save you, sometimes in mysterious ways.

The Poet and the King
A very poor poet is repeatedly told by his wife to go and recite for the King who would shower gifts and praise upon such men. However the outcome was not what they expected from the King.

The Life of Action
A very confused student asks his spiritual Master about a problem that has been constantly troubling him. The Master replies “My son, always act!”
