Sri Chinmoy Sings – Volume 8

Last modified August 2, 2006

Sri Chinmoy sings, unaccompanied, 25 Bengali songs from the songbook “Bela Chale Jai”. Before singing, Sri Chinmoy also reads out the English translation of the song.

The album includes the song “Bela Chale Jai” – which is the title of the classic songbook. Sri Chinmoy also sings two versions of his immortal song on forgiveness ‘Jiban Debata’

Translation of song Bela Chale Jai

My time is passing away.
My time is passing away.
O, where are You,
My life’s last game?

– Sri Chinmoy, Bela Chale Jai

These songs are flooded with a sweet, devoted feeling. Therefore, this music is very conducive to meditation.

We are grateful to Sri Chinmoy for this soulful and illumining offering.
