The vast majority of the performances in this CD are extemporaneous, expressing an artistic freedom seldom seen in performers of music for meditation. Sri Chinmoy is at home both within the confines of his own melodies, as well as in the vast expanse of improvisation.

Sri Chinmoy's improvisations are musical landscapes of unknown origin; new worlds are being created as we listen. These are explorations of the inner space of our own imagination, infused with a spiritual energy that is at once playful and illumining. Enjoy!
