Flowers of Beauty and Delight

Last modified November 21, 2012

A unique arrangement of Sri Chinmoy’s melodies by a group of Sri Chinmoy’s students from Australia. Recorded by the group, Sri Chinmoy-Vision Muse in Action, the recordings offer a delightfully unique arrangement of Sri Chinmoy’s music.

The group of musicians from Australia, led by Prachar, recorded this album in 1984 and use their classical training to share their talents and  arrangements of  Sri Chinmoy’s music.

The album “Flowers of Beauty and Delight” carries some very joyful melodies, such as “Aum Govindaya Nama” or “Purna Karya”. Other songs as “Ogo Paramesh”are more expressed in meditative and calming mode. The recordings were made with a variety of western classical instruments, such as piano, French horn, alto recorder, guitar, flutes, trumpets, tuba, bells and keyboards.
