Mountain-Aspiration and Fountain-Dedication

Last modified November 17, 2015

This CD includes six organ performances by Sri Chinmoy whilst he was visiting New Zealand in 1987 and 2002.

All of these performances took place in New Zealand, famed for its natural beauty. Just as nature, in all its majesty and beauty, can bring out the best in us, in the same way the organ brings out Sri Chinmoy‘s musical imagination to the highest degree. The sound of the organ is so replete with colours and textures, it offers Sri Chinmoy the opportunity to express the height and depth, as well as the length and breath of meditation. It is most expansive in character.

Our gratitude to Sri Chinmoy for this soulful offering.
