Since 1984, Sri Chinmoy travelled throughout the world, offering concerts of soulful music to serve mankind.

These instrumental and vocal pieces are Sri Chinmoy’s original compositions. Most of them are devotional prayer-poems set to music, and as such, have an elevating vibration. There is an intense and sweet consciousness in them. It is this inner flame, this inner cry that we call aspiration, that Sri Chinmoy tries to feed, foster and fulfill through music, art, sport, world-harmony initiatives and humanitarian work.

You will notice that there is a sense of inner peace in this music; a sweet harmony permeates it. This peace is a manifestation of the inner reality, the inner essence that we all share.

We are grateful to Sri Chinmoy for this soulful and illumining offering, and hope that this music will enable you to reach that inner space of stillness, light, peace and delight, which is the fountain of our own inner growth and splendor.
